Hola guys!!!
What's up? Here is my second blog and hope that you all would be liking my previous one. Pardon me if you found something wrong in it. Today's blog is about our way of living.
I have always some set personal boundaries of what is funny and what is not. I have been saying that there are just some things you should not make fun at. But I was absolutely wrong. Actually, Laughter rises out of tragedy when you need it the most and rewards you for your courage.
Without it, it would have been impossible to imagine how people with life taking diseases and their families could have endured their load. I had been thinking for many years that life is about living it seriously without doing any mistake. But this is totally inappropriate and unsuitable.
I remember a incident from it. Anju of Bengaluru speaks of optimism and humour as her "caretakers" during her bout with cancer. It put the following experience in perspective. The 17 year old entered a treatment room to receive her radiation therapy. Several people were already there so she dropped her gown and prepared to get on with it. Upon questioning she found that the extra people in the room weren't medical students as she had assumed, but painters there to estimate the cost of repainting the room. Anju could not stop her laughter on herself and forgetting about her pain.
That's what people have been saying for years,"Laughter is the best medicine".
If any of you is bored and tired about your life then just laugh for no reason or on yourself because laughter is an instant vacation.
When you laugh, all kinds of wonderful things happen to benefit your body and mind. Endorphins are released in your brain which give you a natural high and your respiratory system gets the kind of work out that it may get from jogging.
Laughter relieves pain. You can only laugh when you are relaxed and the more relaxed you are the less pain you feel; so funny books, movies and even spending your time with your close and love ones are ideal pain relievers. In fact, you can not get ulcers and laugh at the same time- you have to choose one or the other. The same goes for other illness. We often get sick by taking ourselves and life too seriously. What we need to do is laugh to keep us stay healthy.
Let us assume that you are broke and your parents refuse to give you money to go out for a movie with your friends. You lost your favorite purse in a mall with all your money. Someone done so worse with all your makeup kit or someone put scratches all over on your bike/car.
If all that is going on, why make things worse by being unhappy as well? The art of being happy involves being able to laugh at difficulties as soon as possible after they happen. One person involved in the above situation, would resist laughing for a long time. Another may decide after sometime to stop crying and start laughing for a long time.Another may decide after sometime to stop crying and start laughing. Therefore, the first person gets to stay miserable for fifty times longer than the other one. AND HE CHOSE.

We all suffer misfortunes. Happy people choose to avoid waiting too long to see the funny side of their disappointments.
Periodically, let us remind ourselves that we are human and that we will do stupid things. If you expect to be perfect, you do not belong to this planet. Let us remember that our own troubles always seem much bigger to us than to anyone else. If no one else is losing sleep, may be we don't need to either.
As you grow older you get more serious about your problems. But, a happy youngster will laugh at almost anything, naturally and unashamedly. They seem intuitively to know that a good laugh keeps them healthy and balanced. They come equipped with insatiable thirst for joy and fun. It is a shame that by the time many reach adulthood this attitude has been replaced by one which says,"Life is all serious". Grown-ups spend their time telling children when not to giggle and when not to laugh. "Do not laugh in class, do not giggle at the dinner table"- until much of their natural quality of being spontaneous is gone.
So, do not lose your ability to laugh and let things pass. You must know one of our major responsibilities towards others is to enjoy ourselves. When we are having fun, we feel better, we work better and people want to be around us.
This will help you a lot with your thoughts.
