Like all the humans out there, I too have a busy life; Studies and Blogging and it is too hard to manage your hair that is why my routine is just so simple. So, here I am just leaving my routine that suits me well and it is not any rocket science and super easy. Tips are following.
Know your hair type
Knowing your hair type is just so important like you know your taste before eating anything. Hair can be oily, dry, normal, wavy, straight, etc. If you know your hair type then you can take a proper care of them. If you do not know your hair type then the simplest way to find out is leave your hair for few days, not using any product just let them natural and after few days observe whether it is oily, dry or something else. After knowing the hair type use products according as on most of the hair products it is already written about it it for which hair type.
Keep them clean
Many of you would be thinking that washing your hair daily makes them silky and smooth but it is totally a myth because excessive washing of hair can them so dry and trigger to hair damage and hair fall. You should wash your hair based upon your hair type like if you do have oily scalp then wash them alternately, if you have dry hair then wash it every third day and keep on checking whether it is getting dirty and wash them immediately. Do not wash them with hot water but you can use lukewarm water.
Conditioning them
Apply oil regularly to your scalp, you can either use coconut oil, olive oil or argan oil to condition your hair. I suggest you to apply oil once a week before going to bed so that your hair get time for conditioning and you can easily wash them next day in the morning. Use a conditioner according to your hair type that suits your hair and nourish them in the best way possible. I want to share a best DIY to deep conditioning your hair. Add 2-4 tea bags to 2 cups of boiled water ( this may vary depending on how much hair you have), let it steep for a few hours or over night. Take the tea and pour on your hair after it has been shampooed, let it sit for 20-30 minutes. Then make sure you deep condition your hair after it has sat for 20-30 minutes adding the deep conditioner on top of your rinse.
Treat with hair mask
As like your skin, hair too need a mask. You can either use mask that are easily available in market or make of your own. Here is the recipe for that also-
A- What You'll Need: - 1 Tablespoon of Coconut Oil - 1 Tablespoon of Honey
Directions: 1. Mix all ingredients into a bowl 2. Transfer mix into a pot and heat up until melted 3. Apply to hair from top to bottom and cover with a shower cap 4. Let it sit for 15-20 mins 5. Rinse
B- For the second mask you need to mix 1 egg, 1 mashed banana, 3 Tbsp milk, 3 Tbsp honey and 5 tbsp olive oil. Mix all the ingredients together nicely in a bowl, making sure all the ingredients are blended well. Now apply this mask gently onto your scalp and hair. Let the mask stay for an hour and rinse it gently with your shampoo.
Apply one of these mask to your hair once or twice a month.
